What you believe about yourself [1]

Sometimes we allow others to define us and we start to believe them. Whatever you believe about yourself if who you are. Guard your beliefs and overcome fear.

Ambition for succes #1

Today I decided to share my ambition for success story.

Last year I was really seeking for a new inspirational environment, I came across a program called Ambition for success.

It seemed interesting so I decided to go alone because I couldn’t find someone to join me :(. It was brave move, one that I will never forget and regret. Going to an event on your own drives you to socialize with people you never met before. It is the best way to learn how to network.

There where speakers from different life stages, they shared their stories and experiences it was very inspiring. That day I said to myself ‘ If they can do it too! Because I also have a story to share ‘

elevator pitch 2013

During the program the public got a chance to present their elevator pitch, I pushed myself to the stage and did it!
It was very spontaneous and I actually did well, it resulted in to me winning a one-year membership for the Networking.

At the end they presented the mr. and mrs. Ambition award, it was very nice to experience so I said to myself next year I will sign up for the training program.

No sooner said than done, watch out for my next post about my progress.

Comfort Zone #2, get to know yourself (1/2).

A week a go I introduced the coming of the Comfort zone series in these series I will challenge you to step out of your comfort zone.

For you to step out of your comfort zone it is important to know yourself. When I talk to people about getting to know yourself they find it peculiar. Most people assume they already know themselves.

Discovering yourselfYour experiences shape you to the person you are today, the choices you make and the circumstances you go trough have an impact on the person you become.

Our personalities are constantly changing some changes you maybe or may not be aware of. At some point you may realise you don’t know who you really are—what you are passionate about and what you want from life.

There was a point in my life I felt depressed, it seemed like nothing in my life was going the right direction. I was having a hard time at school, struggling with bad grades. In fact I felt useless beause I hadn’t discovered my talent or passion and that I was unable to succeed in life because there was a chance that I might not pass and receive a degree.I felt stuck and my big question was ‘WHAT IS MY NEXT MOVE?’

I will continue in part 2..

The Comfort Zone #1

Are you familiar with the word comfort zone? The word it self feels comfortable, so what could possibly be wrong about the comfort zone?

Well I will give you my view on it but first I’ll give you the definition according to wikipedia:

The comfort zone is a behavioral state within which a person operates in an anxiety-eutral condition, using a limited set of behaviors to deliver a steady level of performance, usually without a sense of risk A comfort zone is a type of mental conditioning that causes a person to create and operate mental boundaries.

It says the comfort zone causes a person to create and operate mental boundaries. I myself am not comfortable with the word bounderies, it makes me feel caged. As a dreamer I want my mindset to be positive and limitless. I want to reach goals that seemed to be unreachable and therefore I must step out of my comfort zone.

I am curious to know what your view is on ” the comfort zone ”, kindly share your thoughts and opinions.

This is a introduction of the comfort zone series, I will surely post more about it. Hopely to inspire you to step out of your comfortzone.

My Big Why

evolution

In my first blog post, I want to share my big WHY(?). I believe that it’s always good to start with WHY(?), because it defines the purpose, the cause or the belief of that which inspires you to do what you do.

I used to say ‘When I grow up I want to become a young entrepeneur and leave behind my own legacy’.

As I grew older, my dream faded away. The society has a huge impact on our life expectations. They also determine what you should study and the career you should pick.

Since a year ago, I found out that life is the result of your own beliefs and expectations. I read the book, The Secret, which explains about the law of attraction and how YOU attract into YOUR life, whatever you think about.

So the formula was easy; the more I thought about being a succesful entrepreneur the more I would attract becoming one and it worked! My mind became conscious of that desire.

“The starting point of all achievement is DESIRE! Keep this constatly in mind. Weak desire brings weak results, just as a small fire makes a small amout of heat.” – Napoleon Hill, Think and Grow Rich

Today I can proudly introduce myself as a young entrepeneur. It was a dream of mine that became reality.

The steps I took to realise that dreams were so uplifting and it added so much joy into my life, that I wanted to inspire others to follow their dreams as well.

I dedicate this blog to everyone that onces said “When I grow up, I want to be __________ <fill in>”
